Luchadora! by Alvaro Saar Rios is the story of Lupita, a teenage girl who pursues her dreams of becoming a lucha libre wrestler, contrary to the norms of Latinx women in the 1960’s. Imagine the Chinese legend Hua Mulan set in the world of Lucha Libre, also known as Mexican wrestling.
