Featuring an all-female dance company, spoken word, traditional Son Jarocho music from Veracruz, and an Afro-Latinx percussive score, Ghostly Labor is a multidisciplinary performance that vividly explores the history of labor in the US-Mexico borderlands through Tap Dance, Mexican Zapateado, and Afro Caribbean movement. This full-length dance theater production celebrates the joy of collective resistance and generations of unseen labor.
