Building a National Destination for Latinx Theatre

Over 25 years, Cara Mía Theatre has grown into the largest Latinx theatre in Texas. Through growth opportunities, Cara Mía Theatre has become a leading national Latinx theatre, joining four other Latinx theatres in the United States with an annual operating budget of more than $1,000,000.

Plays

Continue to expand local and national reach through new play development and world premieres at the Latino Cultural Center, co-productions with local and national theatres, national touring productions, site-specific and neighborhood performances.
